Titanium-Coated Diamond Powder

Titanium-plated diamond powder is mainly used for the manufacture of metal bond diamond tools.
The surface of diamond powder is coated with a layer of titanium , so that the diamond particle will have the great hold force with metal bond, meanwhile prevents heat damage and prolongs the service life.

Titanium coated diamond powder is coated with a layer of titanium coating on the surface of diamond particles. So that the diamond particle will have the better bond force with metal matrial in bond.
Meanwhile, In the process of high-temperature sintering and high-temperature grinding, the titanium coating plays a role in isolating diamond thermal damage, reducing thermal shock, preventing diamond carbonization and oxidation, and protecting the hardness of diamond, so that the diamond powder maintains good grinding efficiency and longer service life.

  • Bonds into metal where bare diamond won‘t — titanium layer improves wetting and mechanical locking.

  • Higher grit retention in metal-bond tools — fewer pull-outs, longer tool life.

  • Protects the diamond during sintering and brazing — delays graphitization and oxidation at elevated temperatures.

  • Forms a genuine chemical bridge in brazed tooling — titanium reacts with most braze alloys.

  • Available from standard FEPA grit sizes all the way down to sub-micron and nano.
