HDGNR Crushed Diamond Grit (Black, Grade B)
HDGNR Series / Grain size 80/100 - 400/500 mesh / Monocrystalline
HDGNR Crushed Diamond Grit (Black, Grade B)
HDGNR Crushed Diamond Grit (Black, Grade B) is a monocrystalline grade from the HDGNR series, produced factory-direct at our own base in Zhengzhou, Henan - the Diamond Capital of China. Standard grain size range: 80/100 - 400/500 mesh. Each batch is checked for particle size distribution before packing, and can be supplied in trial quantities for process validation.
Advantage
- Grade B black RVG-type grit graded to a wider tolerance
- Angular, slim, rough-surfaced particles with strong self-sharpening behaviour
- Priced for entry-level tools and consumables
- Supplied across 80/100 to 400/500 mesh
- Ships in 3 working days
Send your workpiece material, target surface finish and order quantity — we confirm the matching grade and sample route within 24 hours.
Product Overview
HDGNR is the Grade B black crushed diamond grit, supplied from 80/100 to 400/500 mesh. It sits below HDGR: the same black RVG-type feed, but graded to a wider tolerance and sold on price.
Particles are angular, slim and rough-surfaced and fracture readily, giving good self-sharpening behaviour in resin and vitrified bonds. Impurity and magnetic content are higher than in the yellow grits.
Use it for entry-level tools and consumables where the wheel or the pad is itself a low-cost item and the specification is set by price rather than by tool life.
Standard Grain Size Chart
Crushed diamond grit is produced from selected coarse diamond by crushing, screening, cleaning and drying. Particles are yellow, irregular and sharp-edged, supplied in tight mesh ranges.

Where HDGNR Sits In The Crushed Grit Range
Crushed diamond grit splits into two material families. Yellow grit is the RVD type, graded for consistent cutting and used worldwide. Black and green grit is the RVG type, cheaper per carat and normally chosen for cost-driven markets where tool life is traded for price.
| Grade | Colour | Crystal character | Production route | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HDYR | Yellow (Type I) | Irregular, sharp, rough-surfaced particles | Crushed from selected coarse diamond, screened, cleaned and dried | Resin and vitrified bond wheels, lapping compounds, electroplated tools |
| HDHR | Yellow (Type II) | Yellow RVD-type material at standard grading | Crushed, screened, cleaned and dried | Resin-bond wheels for medium-soft materials |
| HDGR | Black / green (Grade A) | Slimmer, more angular particles with a rougher surface | Crushed from selected coarse diamond | Low-cost resin and vitrified bond wheels |
| HDGNRThis grade | Black / green (Grade B) | Economy black grade, wider grading tolerance | Crushed and screened | Entry-level tools and consumables |
| HDGD | Raw black | Unclassified raw black grit | Screened only | Further processing and low-cost bond wheels |
