HDHR Crushed Diamond Grit (Type II Yellow)
HDHR Series / Grain size 80/100 - 325/400 mesh / Monocrystalline

HDHR Crushed Diamond Grit (Type II Yellow)
HDHR Crushed Diamond Grit (Type II Yellow) is a monocrystalline grade from the HDHR series, produced factory-direct at our own base in Zhengzhou, Henan - the Diamond Capital of China. Standard grain size range: 80/100 - 325/400 mesh. Each batch is checked for particle size distribution before packing, and can be supplied in trial quantities for process validation.
Advantage
- Yellow RVD-type grit with good friability and self-sharpening behaviour
- Low magnetic content and low non-diamond residue
- Crushed, screened, cleaned and dried from selected coarse diamond
- Tight mesh ranges from 80/100 to 325/400
- Resin-bond, vitrified-bond, electroplated and lapping-compound uses
- Ships in 3 working days

Product Overview
HDHR is the Type II yellow crushed diamond grit: irregular, sharp-edged particles produced from selected coarse diamond by crushing, screening, cleaning and drying, then supplied in tight mesh ranges from 80/100 down to 325/400.
It is the RVD-type yellow material, which means good friability and self-sharpening behaviour, low magnetic content and fewer impurities than black grit. In resin and vitrified bonds that combination keeps the wheel cutting rather than glazing over.
Main uses are resin-bond diamond wheels for hard alloy, ceramic, glass and carbide grinding, vitrified bond wheels for higher-precision work, and lapping compounds, flexible abrasives, files and electroplated burrs.

Yellow crushed grit is supplied from 80/100 down to 325/400 mesh. Finer fractions are supplied as micron powder (HDY / HDH ladders) rather than as crushed grit. Impact toughness and magnetic content are checked lot by lot — ask for the values on the mesh range you are buying.

Where HDHR Sits In The Crushed Grit Range
Crushed diamond grit splits into two material families. Yellow grit is the RVD type, graded for consistent cutting and used worldwide. Black and green grit is the RVG type, cheaper per carat and normally chosen for cost-driven markets where tool life is traded for price.
| Grade | Colour | Crystal character | Production route | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HDYR | Yellow (Type I) | Irregular, sharp, rough-surfaced particles | Crushed from selected coarse diamond, screened, cleaned and dried | Resin and vitrified bond wheels, lapping compounds, electroplated tools |
| HDHRThis grade | Yellow (Type II) | Yellow RVD-type material at standard grading | Crushed, screened, cleaned and dried | Resin-bond wheels for medium-soft materials |
| HDGR | Black / green (Grade A) | Slimmer, more angular particles with a rougher surface | Crushed from selected coarse diamond | Low-cost resin and vitrified bond wheels |
| HDGNR | Black / green (Grade B) | Economy black grade, wider grading tolerance | Crushed and screened | Entry-level tools and consumables |
| HDGD | Raw black | Unclassified raw black grit | Screened only | Further processing and low-cost bond wheels |
