Functional diamond for coatings, electrodes and engineered composites.

Solutions In This Category
Beyond abrasives, diamond is bought for what it does inside a material rather than what it removes from a surface: wear resistance in coatings, conductivity in electrodes and mechanical reinforcement in composites. These applications are specified by function, so we develop the grade against the end property.

Selection Notes
How To Choose The Right Grade
- Define the property you are buying — hardness, conductivity or thermal transfer — and we grade against that property.
- For coatings, dispersion and surface chemistry usually decide performance long before particle size does.
- Emerging grades are developed against customer samples; send the target specification and we run the trial batch.

What To Include
Start from the application requirement. We will help narrow the grade, particle size and packing route.
1Target function (wear / conductivity / reinforcement)
2Host material or coating system
3Volume and development stage
4Any specification the end customer has set
