HDG Monocrystalline Diamond Micron Powder (Black) is a monocrystalline grade from the HDG series, produced factory-direct at our own base in Zhengzhou, Henan - the Diamond Capital of China. Standard grain size range: W50 - W1. Each batch is checked for particle size distribution before packing, and can be supplied in trial quantities for process validation.

Product Overview
HDG is the economy monocrystalline diamond micron powder: the same grading discipline as our standard grade, built on lower-cost black raw material. It exists for processes where price sets the specification and the surface requirement is forgiving.
The grade is classified by free settling and screened across the full ladder from W50 down to W1. Particles are angular, black and sharp, so removal is fast; the trade is a wider strength and purity band than HDY and a shorter tool or pad life.
Use HDG for cost-driven lapping and polishing, for consumables sold on price rather than life, and as the comparison grade when you are testing whether a process really needs premium powder.

All grades are produced and inspected to ANSI B74.20-2003 R2010. Tell us the D50 and the upper cut you need and we grade to that specification. Tighter PSD windows, custom cuts and private-label packing are available on request.
