HDYM Nano Diamond Micron Powder is a monocrystalline grade from the HDYM series, produced factory-direct at our own base in Zhengzhou, Henan - the Diamond Capital of China. Standard grain size range: W0.5 - W0.1. Each batch is checked for particle size distribution before packing, and can be supplied in trial quantities for process validation.

Product Overview
HDYM Nano Diamond Micron Powder is our sub-micron monocrystalline grade: particles below 0.5 µm, produced for the final polishing step where the target is a surface, not a removal rate.
The specification that matters at this size is the top cut. One oversized particle sets the scratch depth of the whole batch, so sub-micron lots are classified by settling and then verified by laser diffraction before release, with the particle size distribution reported on the batch certificate.
Typical use is precision and mirror polishing of ceramics, sapphire, carbide, optical glass and metal components, and as the fine fraction in polishing slurry and paste formulations.

Sub-micron diamond powder is the finest end of the same settling ladder, and it is where almost all of the surface-quality risk sits: a single oversized particle sets the scratch depth of the whole batch. Every sub-micron lot is classified by settling rather than only screened, and the distribution is verified by laser diffraction before release.

The standard nano grade runs W0.1 to W0.5. Cuts coarser than W0.5 are supplied from the HDY / HDH monocrystalline ladders, which are graded on the same W scale up to W50. D50, D90 and the upper cut are reported on the batch certificate.
